WILLIAM H. FREEMAN, MD, FAAFP (emeritus)

Dr. William H. Freeman is a Board Certified Family Physician and Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians.  He completed his undergraduate degree from Hendrix College and earned his medical degree from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in 1981. He completed his residency in Family Medicine at UAMS-AHEC Pine Bluff in 1984, where he remained on faculty for 12 years prior to moving to Conway.  He served the Conway community from 1996 until his retirement in 2023. When he’s not traveling, and since his name is still on the door, he may still be seen roaming the halls of Freeman Family Medicine.

WILLIAM A. FREEMAN, MD, FAAFP

Dr. Alex Freeman is a Board Certified Family Physician and Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians.  He joined Freeman Family Medicine in 2011 after completing his residency in Family Medicine at UAMS-AHEC Fort Smith where he served as Chief Resident during his final year of training.  He earned his medical degree from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in 2008 and completed his undergraduate work at Hendrix College.  He is on-staff at Conway Regional Medical Center and currently serves as Chair of the the Accountable Clinical Management Post-Acute Care Committee.  He is Medical Director at Hospice Home Care in Conway and is also on-staff at the Conway Regional Wound Center.  He also currently serves on the Conway Regional Physician Hospital Organization Board of Directors.  He is currently accepting new patients, from newborns to geriatrics and everything in between.  Dr. Alex has followed a plant-based diet since March 5, 2014.

AMY BURTON, APRN

Amy Burton is a Family Nurse Practitioner and joined Freeman Family Medicine in 2007.  She earned her Advanced Practice Nurse degree from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences and completed her undergraduate degree at Arkansas Tech.  Originally from Atkins, she now lives in Conway.  She works as a team with Dr. William H. Freeman and our nursing staff to provide care for patients of all ages. Wife to Jack, mom to 4 sons, and Gigi to her grandkids, Amy enjoys camping, reading, and travel. She also parents the most perfect dog, Bella.

MICHELLE CHURCHILL, APRN

Michelle Churchill is a Family Nurse Practitioner.  She joined Freeman Family Medicine in 2013 after working in women’s health for 11 years at St. Vincent Medical Center and The Women’s Clinic in Little Rock.  She earned her Advanced Practice Nurse degree from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences and completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Central Arkansas.  She works as a team with Dr. Alex Freeman and our nursing staff to provide care for patients of all ages and maintains a strong interest in women’s health.  Michelle has followed a plant-based diet since March of 2014.
