Dr. William H. Freeman is a Board Certified Family Physician. He has been in practice in Conway since 1996. He earned his medical degree from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in 1981 and completed his residency in Family Medicine at UAMS-AHEC Pine Bluff in 1984, where he remained on faculty for 12 years prior to moving to Conway. He completed his undergraduate degree from Hendrix College. He is on-staff at Conway Regional Medical Center and currently serves on the Primary Care Accountable Clinical Management Committee. He serves as Medical Director of the Conway Regional Wound Center. He is also Medical Director and sees nursing home and rehab patients at Heritage Living Center. He is currently accepting new patients, from adolescents to geriatrics. Dr. Freeman has followed a plant-based diet since March 12, 2017.

Dr. Alex Freeman is a Board Certified Family Physician. He joined Freeman Family Medicine in 2011 after completing his residency in Family Medicine at UAMS-AHEC Fort Smith. He served as Chief Resident during his final year of training. He earned his medical degree from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in 2008 and completed his undergraduate work at Hendrix College. He is on-staff at Conway Regional Medical Center and currently serves on the Primary Care Accountable Clinical Management Leadership Committee and the Specialty Care Accountable Clinical Management Performance Improvement Committee. He is Medical Director at Hospice Home Care in Conway and is also on-staff at the Conway Regional Wound Center. He also currently serves on the Conway Regional Physician Hospital Organization Board of Directors. He has served on the Board of Directors at Conway Interfaith Clinic. He is currently accepting new patients, from newborns to geriatrics and everything in between. Dr. Alex has followed a plant-based diet since March 5, 2014.

Amy Burton is a Family Nurse Practitioner. She joined Freeman Family Medicine in 2007. She earned her Advanced Practice Nurse degree from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences and completed her undergraduate degree at Arkansas Tech. Originally from Atkins, she now lives in Conway. She works as a team with Dr. William H. Freeman and our nursing staff to provide care for patients of all ages. Her clinical interests include adult medicine with an emphasis on women’s health.
michelle churchill, a.p.r.n.
Michelle Churchill is a Family Nurse Practitioner. She joined Freeman Family Medicine in 2013 after working in women’s health for 11 years at St. Vincent Medical Center and The Women’s Clinic in Little Rock. She earned her Advanced Practice Nurse degree from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences and completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Central Arkansas. She works as a team with Dr. Alex Freeman and our nursing staff to provide care for patients of all ages and maintains a strong interest in women’s health. Michelle has followed a plant-based diet since March of 2014.
melissa tyler, bsn, rn
Melissa Tyler serves as Care Manager at Freeman Family Medicine. She has worked at the clinic in various roles since 2004. She earned her Bachelors of Science in Nursing from the University of Central Arkansas. Originally from Virginia, she now lives in Conway with her husband and four children. As Care Manager, Melissa focuses her efforts on caring for our higher risk patients who may benefit from additional services, such as weekly phone calls and additional education on their disease processes or medications. She also runs Freeman Family Medicine’s After-Hours Nurse Line.
Shawna weatherly, rn
Shawna joined Freeman Family Medicine in 2014 as a Licensed Practical Nurse. After obtaining her Associates Degree for Registered Nursing, she briefly left our clinic to pursue other opportunities. We were happy to have her return to our clinic in February of 2017, where she loves helping us care of our patients. Shawna and her husband, Daniel, live in Conway and have raised three children.
Charlie quiroz, lpn
Charlie joined Freeman Family Medicine in 2015. He graduated from Baptist Health Schools in Little Rock in 2014. Charlie will be starting LPN to RN school in January of 2018. Charlie and his wife live in Bigelow with their two young boys.
ashley fyke, rma
Ashley serves as a medical assistant at Freeman Family Medicine and has been with us since January 2015. She received her Registered Medical Assistant license from Eastern College of Health Vocations in 2014. Ashley is largely responsible for bringing our patients back to the exam rooms and completing medication reconciliation and vital signs. She is also currently heading our involvement in the Millions Hearts Study.
Kathy has been with Freeman Family Medicine since 1997. She is our Lab Director, running our in-house laboratory and keeping us on top of regulatory requirements in the lab. She also serves as our Bone Densitometer Technician and has been doing bone densities since 1999. Kathy graduated from Hendrix with a Bachelors of Arts degree. Kayla serves as the Care Coordinator at Freeman Family Medicine. She has worked at our clinic in various roles since 2002. Originally from Leslie, she currently lives in Mayflower with her husband and daughter. As Care Coordinator, Kayla schedules all specialist appointments and ensures all consult notes are received following those appointments. She is also in charge of various other duties related to documentation of services provided and helps out in our lab. Kayla is an avid Razorback fan. WOO PIG SOOIE!!
Casey joined Freeman Family Medicine in 2013 as our Clinical Allergy Specialist. She is a native of Conway and earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Central Arkansas in 2007. Nicole is our newest addition to the team. She joined Freeman Family Medicine in June of 2017 and serves as our phlebotomist. She has been a phlebotomist for 15 years. She graduated with honors from Eastern College. Originally from Pioneer, Louisiana, she now lives in Arkansas with her husband and three kids. She is very passionate about health and fitness and has also been a personal trainer for the last seven years.
cecile madden, ccrc, mph
Cecile joined Freeman Family Medicine in 2015 as our Certified Clinical Research Coordinator. She brings over 16 years of clinical research experience to our clinic. She has lived here in Conway since 2009 with her husband and daughter. Cecile is a graduate of the University of Central Arkansas and the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, where she earned a Master’s Degree in 2007 with an emphasis in Health Policy Development and Management. Freda serves as our Administrator and has been with Freeman Family Medicine since 1997. She has been instrumental in turning Freeman Family Medicine into a Patient-Centered Medical Home. She earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Central Arkansas and her master’s from The Ohio State University. She is responsible for the day-to-day running of Freeman Family Medicine. She enjoys readings, running, traveling, and seeing her grandkids in her spare time. Freda has followed a plant-based diet since March 12, 2017.
Shana joined Freeman Family Medicine in 2015 as a receptionist and medical assistant. She received her Certified Medical Assistant license from Heritage College and graduated with honors in March of 2014. Originally from Anchorage, Alaska, she now resides in Conway with her two children. Shana plans to continue her education in psychology in the near future.
Abbey joined Freeman Family Medicine in 2012 as our Billing and Patient Accounts Manager. She received an Associates degree from Central Baptist College and later graduated from University of Central Arkansas with a Bachelors Degree in Psychology. Originally from Western Oklahoma, she now resides in Vilonia with her husband and two girls. Abbey loves cats, swimming, and the Lord. Abbey tries to incorporate her favorite quote into all aspects of daily life, “Be kinder than necessary. Everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle.”
Amanda joined Freeman Family Medicine in 2015 as a receptionist. She graduated from Conway High School in 2014. She attended Central Baptist College where she studied Health Science, and she is currently pursuing a degree in nursing.
